Chance’s Rave Reviews

My husband and I both had massages here when we were stuck in town because of Hurricane Sandy after doing the Austin 70.3 triathlon. Our therapist was Chance and he gave just the right balance of massage for post-race recovery. Our recovery was certainly aided by his skills, which was important since we had another long race planned three weeks later. Chance was respectful, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations for restaurants and even a barber for my husband while we were in town. We would need to come here for more regular massages to know fully, but this seemed to be comparable to our old massage place, Sports Medicine Institute, in Palo Alto. Prices were reasonable (plus they don’t accept tips), and it was easy to make an appointment. Because of the good location, I was able to shop at Anthropologie while my husband got his massage, and he could check out REI while I got mine. Lululemon and Whole Foods were also walking distance.
