Scott Kimbell

Scott Kimbell ART
Scott, an Austin native, went off to Colorado for his education. He attended Adams State University in Alamosa, CO where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. After college, he made his way north a bit to Fort Collins, CO where he attended The Healing Arts Institute to earn his massage therapy license. Scott is passionate about health and fitness and is an athlete himself. At Adams State he ran cross country and track and was highly ranked nationally in the 1500m. Running is his first love, but he now competes in duathlons and triathlons. When he’s not providing great bodywork, it is very likely he can be found staring at a black line in a pool somewhere, cycling around the hill country, or pounding out some miles around the lake. Scott understands firsthand what the body is put though during any training regimen and his goal is to help the people of central Texas reach their athletic goals or get through their workdays healthy and pain free. The modalities he uses to achieve this goal vary but he specializes in neuromuscular therapy and sports massage. He is also well versed in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and lymphatic drainage. He also is upper body certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and will be full body certified in the future.
